Allen Onyeama the CEO of Air Peace, uncovered this while tending to the media not long after 187 Nigerians came back from South Africa over xenophobic assaults.
The aircraft had offered free flights to the individuals who looked to return.
“I set up together over N280 million in other to bring these individuals back, Air Peace chose to bring them gratis, no one paid us a dime, we chose to do it for nothing out of pocket for our nation and for our kin.”
“When I ventured inside the air ship to invite them, they mobbed me and began singing the Nigerian national song of devotion, there was no one there singing about detachment, they felt glad to be Nigerian, they ascended as one, that drew tears from me.”
