Aloba expressed his concerns in a video shared by Gistloverblog, where he also reflected on the sacrifices parents make while raising their children and the importance of understanding family circumstances before passing judgment.
He said Toluwanisings’ death was saddening and encouraged parents to reflect on the lessons they teach their children, stressing that people should be mindful of their actions and avoid judging situations they do not fully understand.
Referring to one of his songs, Aloba argued that parents deserved to enjoy the benefits of the sacrifices they make in bringing up their children.
He noted that raising children often involves considerable financial and personal struggles, adding that parents should not be denied the opportunity to enjoy the rewards of their efforts.
The father of the late Mohbad also addressed comparisons between the controversy surrounding Toluwanisings’ family and the dispute that followed his own son’s death.
According to him, family disagreements can differ significantly in their complexity, making it unfair for outsiders to draw conclusions without understanding the circumstances involved.
“Some people have compared the situation to the case of Mohbad, but there are families whose challenges are even more complicated than what happened in that case.
This is why we must be careful about passing judgment on situations we do not fully understand,” he said.
Aloba further referenced another of his songs, which portrays a father wearing old clothes while his child dresses expensively.
He said the message highlighted how children might not always recognise the sacrifices their parents make to provide them with a better life.
Speaking specifically about Toluwanisings’ family, Aloba claimed that the late singer’s father paid ₦35,000 in rent, while his mother-in-law lived in a house equipped with air conditioning.
He also alleged that Toluwanisings’ wife had influenced the singer against his family, although the claims were not independently established in the account of his remarks.
